Introduction to Meditation
When: 5:30 to 7 p.m., Sunday, June 1, 2025 (PAST)
Where: Movement Matters Collective, 3014 C Street, San Diego, CA 92102
This 90-minute introductory session will explore some basic meditation concepts. We will discuss what distinguishes mindfulness from meditation, explore various traditions and techniques, and discover how gentle, purposeful attention can shift your relationship with stress. It’s a simple, but not easy practice that can make life feel fuller, calmer, happier and more deeply lived.

6-week Mindful Stillness Course
When: 5:30 to 7 p.m., Sundays, June 8 to July 13, 2025
Where: Movement Matters Collective, 3014 C Street, San Diego, CA 92102
Attend the entire series or select days. We’ll explore mindfulness meditation as a tool for grounding in uncertain times. Learn to sit with discomfort, build inner calm, release resistance and energize your persistence and perseverance. Through accessible techniques and gradual practice, we’ll discover how mindful stillness can shift our response to life. No pressure to perform or conform, just space to be.
